Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, audit, and report on materials, processes, and products using variable and attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company's quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and mechanical measurement tests, and rejecting and returning nonconforming materials.
  • Inspect in-process and/or finished products by confirming specifications and drawings, conducting visual and mechanical measurement testing, returning nonconforming product for rework, and verifying and validating the completed rework.
  • Document inspection results by completing the required reports and logs in a timely basis while summarizing rework and scrap while inputting the data into the respective database.

Requirements:

  • Two-year technical certificate or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience on set-up and maintenance of electronic and/or mechanical test equipment, operating standard equipment, chamber tools, and the ability to apply logic in the analysis of the problems is required.
  • Must have experience using electronic and mechanical testing equipment. Must have the ability to read and interpret electronic drawings and customer-supplied blueprints and drawings and have a basic knowledge of statistical techniques.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of using and referencing military and industry standards.
  • Extensive user of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Access). Must be experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, including macros/calculations, and must have the ability to analyze and present the data in a clear and accurate manner.
