Job Summary

Dynamic Systems Technology is seeking a highly skilled Prevention Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will serve as the Substance Abuse Prevention/Suicide Prevention Trainer and Case Manager within their assigned State Army National Guard.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention, or Resiliency, with a Bachelor's Degree in a Social Science or related field. They will possess excellent instruction and briefing skills, with the ability to work effectively with various audiences.

The Prevention Specialist will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with State Points of Contact, implementing program goals and objectives, and coordinating and conducting Substance Abuse Prevention and Suicide Prevention training.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and maintain relationships with State Points of Contact
  2. Implement program goals and objectives
  3. Coordinate and conduct Substance Abuse Prevention and Suicide Prevention training
  4. Manage all Substance Abuse referred Soldier cases from initial referral to final disposition
  5. Provide required weekly/monthly reports to the Risk Reduction Coordinator
  6. Assist the Risk Reduction Coordinator with Monthly Status reports

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Social Science or related field
  • 3 – 5 years of practical experience in Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention, or Resiliency
  • Strong instruction and briefing skills
  • Ability to work a variable schedule
