Position Overview:

This role is integral to the operations at Play Mechanix Inc., focusing on delivering exceptional technical assistance for our amusement machine offerings while managing warehouse responsibilities to ensure optimal storage and service of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all technical components of the Play Mechanix product range, including unloading, organizing, setting up, repacking, and shipping gaming units.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on all test and development machines, both onsite and at various testing locations, requiring a thorough understanding of system functionalities.
  • Engage with clients and the Warehouse Supervisor to uphold superior customer service standards.
  • Manage field testing units for all Play Mechanix products, which includes setting up games at various locations and ensuring their proper servicing. This necessitates strong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot issues before travel.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and be prepared for minimal travel, including occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work as needed.
  • Assist with game testing, light moving of equipment, and basic office maintenance tasks as required.
  • Provide weekly written updates to the department head, due each Friday.
  • Core working hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate a solid understanding of coin-operated amusement machine functions and assembly.

Key skills include:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, whether through phone, email, or in-person interactions.
  • Basic electronics knowledge and training, including proficiency with a multimeter.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and their proper usage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is preferred.
