Join Our Team as a Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at Primrose School of Thornton. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our young students and helping them develop a lifelong love of learning.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive growth in our students.
  • Assess each child's developmental needs and implement individualized lesson plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
  • Build strong relationships with each child and their families, and communicate effectively with them about their child's progress.
  • Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
Requirements:
  • Must meet the basic requirements of the local childcare regulatory agency.
  • Previous experience in a licensed early childhood program is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
