Job Title: Production Line Worker

Job Overview

The Production Line Worker plays a crucial role in supporting various functions within the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organization of materials and components. The worker will engage in repetitive physical tasks to detach components from metal sheets, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications set by client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery for metal fabrication and finishing processes.
  • Assemble, fit, and repair both subassemblies and major assemblies.
  • Document job activities and maintain accurate counts using the labor reporting system.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to receive guidance and coordinate tasks.
  • Uphold quality standards and performance metrics.
  • Label processed materials accurately, including customer details, part numbers, quantities, and order information.

Essential Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to operate metalworking equipment.
  • Capacity to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail in maintaining accurate counts.
  • Proficient in recording job activities.

Position Type

This role is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.

Work Environment

The position is situated in a machine shop setting, where exposure to dust, grease, and metal shavings is common. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and steel-toed footwear is mandatory. The work schedule is 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday.
