Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Setup and Operation: Perform setup and operation of gluing machines, ensuring that all necessary adjustments are made to meet production requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on gluing machines to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Conduct in-process inspections to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to employees working on your line, ensuring that production goals are met.
  • Production Planning: Collaborate with production planners to develop and implement daily production schedules.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and production planners.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, frequently lift up to 10 pounds, and push/pull up to 12 pounds.
