Job Summary

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our Agency Communications team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective graphics for print materials, social media, and websites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and produce high-quality graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud software, including newsletters, brochures, social media graphics, presentations, maps, infographics, and more.
  • Coordinate graphic and multimedia design needs with agency staff, providing advice on technical graphics and presenting mockups, proofs, and samples for approval.
  • Analyze content for accessibility and recommend changes to make it accessible, remediating accessibility issues as needed.
  • Utilize Windows PC and serve as liaison to vendors for print and design-related projects, reviewing and approving production proofs.
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive information, ensuring individual and team files are appropriately maintained and timely disposed of in accordance with the agency's records retention procedures and schedule.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in graphic design or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
