About the Role

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to perform repairs to Marine Engines and Engine Power Generation equipment in the field. You'll work closely with internal and external customers to provide timely and effective solutions to their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety procedures, laws, policies, and rules.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to promote a positive relationship.
• Work in a manner consistent with Contamination Control Guidelines.
• Travel to meet customer service requirements, including overnight stays and overseas travel.
• Be available to respond to customer service needs during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform service operations, including pre-delivery setup, installation, and start-up of Caterpillar engines and generators.
• Repair, replace, or rebuild engines and related systems and components.
• Assist electric power field technicians as required.
• Write service reports and prepare required documentation.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Diesel Technology or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of directly related experience in power generation or engine service, preferably in a heavy industrial environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel and work in a variety of environments.
