Job Summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a skilled Integration and Test Engineer to support production space vehicle and payload testing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate acceptance test documentation, including Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Reports.
  • Lead a team of technicians and engineers in the execution of acceptance tests for Space Payloads and/or Space Vehicles.
  • Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement mistake-proofing plans.
  • Execute space vehicle hardware verification testing at acceptance and/or qualification levels for various environments (vibration, thermal, vacuum, acoustics).
  • Integrate, test, and verify small sub-assemblies into complex systems, with subsequent integration onto a host spacecraft composed of multiple payloads and sub-systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, or a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in developing Test Plans, Procedures, Reports, and test execution.
  • Security Clearance required upon hire, with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with multi-discipline technical teams through all phases of a program.
  • Experience with RF measurements and testing, including tools and test equipment.
  • Familiarity with automation and scripting languages.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a technical information environment.
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers to resolve in-depth technical issues.
