We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Specialist to join our team at Donor Network of Arizona. As an Application Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's specialized systems, providing user training, and becoming the subject matter expert for most of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support all operational aspects of the organization's specialized systems
  • Provide user training and become the subject matter expert for most of our systems
  • Proactively manage a wide range of application platforms
  • Work with vendors to install, upgrade, and maintain key departmental products and applications
  • Act as an IT liaison to key departments and committees
  • Understand best practices around UI/UX development to improve overall user experience
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call IT resource rotation schedule to field IT service requests
  • Follow established change control processes to implement planned changes to production and non-production systems
  • Follow established SCRUM process to iterate and enhance current integrations and developments
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum Experience: 6+ years of relevant work experience supporting end users with specialized applications
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS and its components
  • Experience with Salesforce systems
  • Experience with AV systems with advanced room functionality
  • Experience with Teams meetings
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture, and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practices
  • Familiarity with developing a knowledge base and leveraging materials to provide resources for all staff
  • Knowledge of Low Code/No Code tools like SSRS, Adalo, Bubble, Zapier, etc.
  • Basic operational understanding of VMWare and VSphere server virtualization tools
  • Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling techniques
  • Experience with Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDK of packaged and legacy applications
