About the Opportunity

Atrium Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their dynamic Pediatric Sleep Medicine team at Levine Children's Hospital. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children with various sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and recurring assessments as needed.
  • Record findings of examinations, assessments, and plans of care.
  • Write appropriate prescriptions, order and interpret laboratory and radiology examinations, and determine treatment plans for patients.
  • Document all patient encounters, observations, interventions, and actions in a medically appropriate manner in the patient's medical record.
  • Act as a patient advocate for pediatric patients with sleep disorders.
  • Participate in group meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in North Carolina.
  • Preferably, also have an established South Carolina license.
  • Must have or be eligible for a DEA license.
  • Master's Degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice required (NP Applicants).
  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required (PA Applicants).
  • Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred (PA Applicants).
