Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Sleep Medicine team at Tryon Medical Partners. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality nursing services in an office setting, working closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing services in an office setting, including vital sign checks, medication management, and patient education.
  • Assist with procedures and examinations, and perform instrument and room clean-up.
  • Participate in electronic documentation of care, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless patient care, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

Education and Certifications:

  • Certification of Licensed Practical Nurse with current license to practice in NC required.
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of practical nursing required.
  • Previous medical office experience preferred.
  • Maintain American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
  • Completion of Hepatitis B Vaccine and Flu Vaccine Form will be required. Candidate may decline vaccination through declination form or may provide record of vaccination from previous employer.
  • Completion of TB test will be required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one-year professional nursing experience, clinic experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work consistently requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Must be able to lift and support weight of 35 pounds.
  • Ability to concentrate on details.
  • Use of computer for long periods of time.
