We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our faculty at Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC.
About the RoleThis is a full-time clinical faculty position with an appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level without tenure on a clinical or academic track. The successful candidate will become a key member of our multidisciplinary pediatric emergency care team, working alongside certified nurses, respiratory therapists, clinical pharmacists, child life specialists, and social workers in the Children's Emergency Department.
Responsibilities- Mentor and teach a diverse group of learners in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and pediatric emergency medicine fellowship training
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical care pathways and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in research enrollment and continuous quality improvement in the department
- Collaborate with other clinical faculty to promote the health and well-being of children
- MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) and board certification or board eligibility in pediatric emergency medicine
- Dual certification or dual board eligibility in pediatrics and emergency medicine
- Eligibility for licensure in the state of North Carolina
