Job Summary

Centerplate, the food and beverage services partner for Tropicana Field, is seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager to provide support for HR operations at the venue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources administration and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attract and partner with local 501c3 Non Profit Organizations to offer fundraising opportunities in exchange for providing workers to man Quick Serve food and beverage stations during games and events.
  • Employ creative techniques to continually source and recruit new organizations to partner with.
  • Develop effective and sustainable relationships with group leaders to retain partnerships throughout the season.
  • Administer and comply with nonprofit group contracts, scheduling, training, payment, communication, and other matters pertaining to these groups.
  • Provide coordination efforts, support, guidance, counsel, and assistance in employee relations, benefits, payroll, compensation administration, diversity, ethics, employment law, policy compliance, recruitment, onboarding, training, and workforce management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field of study.
  • 1-2 years of previous work experience in an HR role, with up to date knowledge of principles and practices of human resources administration.
  • Previous work experience in a fast-paced, complex food and beverage service environment.
  • High proficiency in all Microsoft Office and HRIS programs.
