Constellation is seeking a highly skilled Project Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain project checkbooks, ensuring accurate reflection of monthly/yearly budgets, forecasts, and actual expenditures.
- Process approved Project Change Requests (PCRs) to update budgets in the project checkbook tool.
- Routinely review and analyze assigned checkbooks to identify missing or incomplete project data.
- Perform detailed analysis of real-time monthly project expenditures to ensure costs are properly coded and identify project fiscal discrepancies.
- Assist project managers in preparing, updating, and analyzing project checkbooks, including forecasts, actual costs, and budgets.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects relevant to financial controls, including focused area assessments, benchmarking visits, business plan initiatives, and procedure revisions.
- Assist project managers in developing PRC and NSAC financial presentations, monthly project reports, and CNO bi-monthly project reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or engineering/construction management with at least 5 years of experience in financial budgeting, cost, and/or project estimating.
- Effective analytical skills combined with strong written and verbal skills.
- Thorough computer-based analytical skills, including Access and Excel-based analysis.
- MBA and/or CPA or PMP certification.
- Expertise in PeopleSoft and Hyperion financial systems.
