Technical Service Specialist

The Technical Service Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to customers in North America. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment maintenance and repair, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning, fault-finding, repairing, maintaining, and monitoring company equipment at mine sites
- Ensuring Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is carried out on company equipment to detect early signs of damage
- Providing sales support to the company's customer base in conjunction with the Customer Service Manager
- Liaising with the Customer Service Manager and Customer Relations Department to ensure timely customer feedback
- Training mine site personnel and company employees in the use of specialized equipment
- Completing timesheets and administrative paperwork in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Journeyman Crane Technician, Diesel Technician, Electrician, Mechanic, or similar trade qualification
- High-level written and spoken communication skills to represent the company to staff at all levels
- Outgoing personality with ability to make contact by phone and conduct face-to-face meetings
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Attention to detail in paperwork processing
- Well-developed IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
Salary Estimate: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
Travel Requirements: This position involves both domestic and international travel, with a range of negotiated site days to be achieved. Site days are spent traveling to/from and working on customer mine sites.
