Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop 3D models and drawings for next-generation accelerators and pulsed power systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop innovative design solutions.
  • Partner with procurement, manufacturing, and suppliers to discuss design, schedule, and manufacturing processes.
  • Manage documentation in a collaborative engineering environment using product data management tools.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and three or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in creating mechanical product design definition, including 3D solid models and mechanical drawings.
  • Proficiency in PTC/CREO and PDMLink (Windchill).
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • Experience with foundational engineering principles related to design, manufacturing, and configuration management.
  • Proven record of demonstrating initiative and getting results.
  • Experience directing and overseeing fabrication of hardware.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences.
  • Active Q Clearance.
