Patriot Crane & Hoist is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in Knoxville, TN. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electrical wiring on 3 phase motor control circuits.
- Install conduit, fittings & enclosures to house electrical wires and components.
- Ensure all electrical components and craftsmanship adhere to NEC and all other applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
- Install and / or replace circuit breakers, contactors, relays and other electrical components and associated wiring.
- Connect electrical systems to existing power distribution panels & disconnects.
- Test & troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
- Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Extensive knowledge of 3 phase motor control systems, electrical systems and wiring.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
- Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
- Tolerance to work at Heights.
- Tolerance to work in high heat environment at times.
