About the Role

The Quality Assurance Manager - North America is a critical position responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance processes within the N.A. warehouses and offices. This role ensures that all activities comply with quality standards and regulations, maintains quality control procedures, and leads continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance Management:
    • Develops and implements quality control policies and procedures.
    • Conducts regular quality inspections and audits of departmental operations.
    • Ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
    • Analyzes quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Implements corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
  • Training and Development:
    • Provides training to warehouse staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
    • Develops and updates training materials and documentation.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintains accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including inspection records, audit reports, and corrective action logs.
    • Prepares and presents quality performance reports to management.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervises and mentors quality control staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Fosters a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the warehouse team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in quality management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Highly skilled in verbal and written communication.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Adept at building a cohesive team environment.
  • Intermediate technical aptitude.
  • Proven experience in quality management within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Other Skills/Abilities
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Professionalism and business savvy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
