Position Summary:
The Plant Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the production and operational activities within our manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that all lifting equipment is produced to the highest standards while managing the associated operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the recruitment, training, and development of production staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations to enhance team effectiveness and retain top talent.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team, providing guidance and feedback to foster a high-performance environment.
- Oversee the operational processes from order placement to product delivery, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to enhance customer experience throughout the delivery and installation phases.
- Develop and manage the annual budget in partnership with regional leadership.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a healthy work culture.
- Generate reports for executive management as required.
- Supervise equipment procurement and maintenance activities.
- Identify training needs and implement development plans for staff.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, exemplifying exceptional customer service.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in analyzing and managing manufacturing financials.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within industrial manufacturing or fabrication.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Oversight of engineering and project management functions.
- Experience with multi-site operations.
- Knowledge of crane systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
