Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all hospital plumbing systems, including troubleshooting, testing, and repairing pumps, pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Supervise general maintenance workers and allocate work flow, training, and advising on complex plumbing repair work throughout the hospital.
- Provide skilled preventive and corrective repair work throughout the hospital, including access to locked medication rooms.
- Perform other maintenance duties as directed.
- Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb and work off of ladders, scaffolding, or electric lifts and operate basic manual cleaning equipment.
Frequent exposure to risk of electrical shock. Cognizant of environmental factors, infection control issues, and maintains a safe environment.
Skills and Abilities- Ability to work based on operational needs of the hospital.
- Possess ability to relay information and deal tactfully and harmoniously with others.
