Welcome to WVU Medicine, where we're committed to providing exceptional healthcare services. We're seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our hospital's plumbing systems, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all hospital plumbing systems
  • Supervise general maintenance workers and allocate work flow, training, and advising
  • Provide skilled preventive and corrective repair work throughout the hospital
  • Have access to and be responsible for performing assigned duties in locked medication rooms

Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb and work off of ladders, scaffolding or electric lifts and operate basic manual cleaning equipment

Working Environment:

  • Frequent exposure to risk of electrical shock
  • Cognizant of environmental factors, infection control issues and maintains a safe environment

Additional Information:

  • 40 hours per week
  • United States of America (Non-Exempt)
