Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Social Marketing to spearhead our marketing initiatives for an upcoming AAA title. Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Marketing, you will be instrumental in shaping the social marketing strategy and execution throughout the game's lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for gaming and a robust understanding of social marketing dynamics.
Your responsibilities will include crafting and implementing tailored global social marketing strategies aimed at enhancing our brand's visibility across various social platforms, fostering cultural relevance, and nurturing positive community engagement.
To excel in this role, you must demonstrate exceptional collaboration and project management abilities, along with strong communication skills to navigate complex scenarios effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Social Marketing Leadership
- Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive social marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Act as the social marketing authority, coordinating with cross-functional teams to align efforts and manage project timelines.
- Design and implement social marketing campaigns based on audience insights that resonate with our target demographics.
- Establish metrics for social engagement and growth, providing regular analysis and reporting on campaign performance and community sentiment.
- Guide creative brainstorming and content development to launch impactful marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with various publishing partners to define and refine social marketing strategies.
- Lead and mentor the Social Marketing team, ensuring adequate resources for successful campaign execution.
- Engage with key stakeholders to present findings, strategies, and recommendations that shape product and marketing directions.
- A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in global social marketing within the gaming industry.
- Proficient in developing integrated social marketing strategies across multiple channels.
- In-depth knowledge of community engagement and social media platforms, particularly in the gaming context.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in social marketing tools and performance metrics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for building relationships with stakeholders.
- Effective presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.
- A decisive leader who can assess risks and make informed decisions promptly.
