Job Title: Site Acquisition Specialist

Commnet Broadband is seeking a highly skilled Site Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our site development team, you will be responsible for acquiring and leasing sites for our telecommunications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify potential sites for our telecommunications infrastructure
  • Negotiate site leases and amendments with site owners and property owners
  • Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local jurisdictions
  • Coordinate site visits with construction managers, transport engineers, and other vendors
  • Prepare and submit colocation applications to site owners
  • Review project deliverables for accuracy and completeness
  • Research local jurisdiction specific zoning and permitting regulations
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in site acquisition and zoning
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of real estate principles, rules, regulations, and contracts
  • Experience with Lucernex, Zoho One, or equivalent site and lease management software
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment
