About the Role

Symbotic is seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Automation Software Engineer. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge automation solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of software algorithms and tools to support new hardware functionalities and continuous performance improvement.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of software engineers to grow technically and professionally.
• Work closely with the vision team to track performance metrics and provide feedback to the software team.
• Support onsite teams on issues related to robotic palletizing and depalletizing applications, including triage and decision-making on solution options.
• Develop data collection, analysis, and reporting systems for robotic applications.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience building Event-Based microservices, with Kubernetes, and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Familiarity with C#, SQL Server, ElasticSearch, LogStash, Kibana (ELK), Ansible, Linux, Kubernetes, Helm, and virtualized servers and networking.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation.
