Position Summary:
VectorCSP is in search of a skilled Engineer to contribute to our diverse team of engineering experts. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing Engineering and Technical support to the System Engineering Task, collaborating with a dedicated group of engineers, technologists, and military veterans focused on delivering independent quality evaluations of critical developmental computer programs for national defense and international military sales.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 0 - 6 years of relevant experience based on educational background
- Experience in technical documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the U.S. AEGIS Navy TECHREP customer with various technical functions related to the integration of the AEGIS Weapon System and Ballistic Missile Defense capabilities within an AEGIS Combat System framework.
- Provide customer support for AEGIS program advancements.
- Review technical specifications and associated documents to verify technical precision and relevance.
- Observe and evaluate tests conducted by program developers and/or other government entities.
- Support the execution and implementation of tests.
- Conduct analysis of specification requirements and test data.
- Document and analyze observed test deficiencies and monitor resolution processes.
Skills and Competencies:
- Familiarity with DoD and/or US Navy/AEGIS Combat System.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to enhance technical knowledge.
- Excellent verbal, written, and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently.
