Job Summary:

This is a critical role that will provide financial and operational leadership for the district, supporting the District Manager in engaging with customers, associates, and planning. The successful candidate will oversee district processes, identify opportunities for profit improvement, and work closely with locations and customers to achieve shared objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Partner with customers to establish strong relationships and drive sales growth through effective communication and delivery of services.
  • Lead critical customer interactions at new, add, and replace points, ensuring seamless transitions and accurate billing.
  • Develop and implement infrastructure for managing non-standard deals, ensuring accurate maintenance exception billing and other financial processes.
  • Plan, organize, and prepare the Business Plan, leading district staff to complete sales plans, vehicle inputs, payrolls, and presentation slides.
  • Train and mentor associates on the planning process, ensuring a smooth transition and effective execution.
  • Push vehicle contribution, P&L, and process analysis and reporting to the DM, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Manage customer-facing financial operations processes, including billing, collections, and receivables, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of customer issues.
  • Initiate corporate process offerings to improve customer experience and execution, such as central PM scheduling, digital vehicle files, and preferred parts.
  • Drive process rollouts, corporate initiatives, and uniformity and consistency across the district.
Inventory Responsibility:

Review and investigate inventory balances using general ledger and inventory graphs, and take physical counts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Associate Development Support:
  • Responsible for the growth and development of the admin team, identifying opportunities for advancement and providing training and mentorship.
  • Support the development of associates with aspirations for other positions, defining career paths and involving HR as needed.
  • Cultivate skills and capabilities of satisfied associates, ensuring they are equipped to excel in their roles.
  • Mentor associates as assigned by the DM, providing guidance and support for career growth.
  • Ensure clerical duties of the team are accomplished, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Support company initiatives as assigned, such as the Service Admin Strategic Initiative (SASI) and Technician Certification Program (TCP).
  • Spent extended time at each location in the district, working with Service, Admin, and Rental teams to understand operations and customer bases.
  • Develop and sustain an in-depth knowledge of each operation and customer base, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in billing, collections, receivables, or other finance-related functions required.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience highly preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree (Finance or Business concentration) preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
  • Profit and Loss (P&L) reporting experience highly preferred.
  • AS400 experience preferred.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation, and drug screening required.
