Job Title: Vibrant Life Director

At Solstice Senior Living, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vibrant Life Director to lead our Vibrant Life Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging activities and programs that promote the physical, mental, and psychological well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Supervise and train department staff to ensure high-quality programming and services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of activities and services.
  • Conduct staff in-services and training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
  • Make recommendations to the Executive Director regarding staff evaluations, merit pay increases, reprimands, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Requirements:
  • For communities licensed for 50 or more persons: Must have one year of experience in conducting group activities and be knowledgeable in evaluating residents' needs, supervising other employees, and training volunteers.
  • For California-based communities: Must have at least six months of experience in providing planned activities or be enrolled in an appropriate education or training program.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or equivalent experience).
