  • Handle ocean import process: Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, and carriers to ensure smooth import processes, including required documentation, system updates, transportation arrangements, and payment processing.
  • Communicate with overseas agents and branches: Establish and maintain relationships with overseas agents and branches to facilitate import and export operations.
  • Arrange payments with carriers/co-loaders: Process payments with carriers and co-loaders upon receipt of arrival notices.
  • Register shipments into the forwarding system: Accurately and timely register shipments into the CW1 forwarding system.
  • Send arrival notices to customers: Inform customers of shipment arrival and coordinate clearance and delivery instructions.
  • Arrange insurance coverage: Ensure customers' insurance requirements are met for shipments.
  • Clearance document arrangement: Coordinate with relevant parties to obtain necessary clearance documents.
  • Liaise with hauliers and transporters: Arrange for delivery of shipments and ensure timely clearance.
  • Follow-up on shipment arrival and delivery: Monitor shipment arrival and delivery processes to ensure smooth operations.
  • Liaise with customers/carriers/co-loaders: Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shipments.
  • Issue bill of lading and declare outward/transshipment permit: Process necessary documentation for shipments.
  • Raise invoices and dispatch to customers: Process invoices and dispatch to customers.
  • File AMS & AFR: Maintain accurate records of shipment data.
  • Extract data for reports: Provide data for simple reports as required by customers.
  • Handle and manage import, export, and transshipment consignments: Coordinate with hauliers, carriers, and warehouses to ensure timely clearance of shipments.
  • Coordinate with customers and warehouse: Plan and execute shipment planning and job executions.
  • Knowledge of import/export/transshipment procedures: Possess knowledge of ocean and air shipment procedures.
  • Other ad-hoc duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Nitec/Diploma in Business/Supply Chain: Possess a relevant qualification in business or supply chain.
  • Min 1 year experience in air and sea shipment: Have at least one year of experience in handling air and sea shipments.
