Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a variety of routine and advanced analyses of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and Drug Products within the peptide portfolio.
  • Formulate analytical methods for both quantitative and qualitative assessments of peptides.
  • Diagnose and resolve instrumentation and methodology-related challenges to guarantee precise and dependable outcomes.
  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments, including HPLC-MS systems, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Accurately document and report analytical findings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate research and development initiatives, product evaluations, and process enhancements.
  • Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and uphold good documentation practices consistently.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

Educational Background

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related discipline.

Professional Experience

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a chemical laboratory environment, particularly with HPLC and HPLC-MS operations.

Experience in developing peptide therapeutics is advantageous.

Additional Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in a regulated setting (e.g., pharmaceuticals, food, environmental testing).
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FDA, ICH, and USP guidelines.
  • Proficient in a diverse array of analytical techniques.
  • Certifications or training in laboratory safety, quality assurance, or related fields.
  • General knowledge and understanding of peptide chemistry.
  • Minimal travel is anticipated for this position (less than 10%).
