Regulatory Sciences Research and Development Professional

Corteva Agriscience is seeking highly motivated students for full-time internships within our research and development organization in either Indianapolis, Indiana or Newark, Delaware.
Responsibilities- Participate in all phases of research, including planning, preparation, calibration, application, evaluation, and analysis, under the guidance of a senior scientist.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner, embodying Corteva's safety culture.
- Demonstrate independent and creative thinking by making novel observations, interpreting data, and drawing sound scientific conclusions.
- Present project reviews throughout the internship and a final poster to colleagues and peers.
- Analytical Chemistry: Participate in a project with our analytical chemistry team developing new technologies.
- Environmental Fate/Environmental Exposure & Assessment: Participate in research projects focused on developing new technologies with our Environmental Fate or Environmental Exposure & Assessment groups.
- Organic Chemistry: Participate in a research project focused on developing a new technology in identifying bound chemical species in environmental matrices with our Environmental Fate or Environmental Exposure & Assessment groups.
- Internships are available to students currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Students must have completed at least three years of undergraduate work before the start of the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Must be able to relocate to either Indianapolis, Indiana or Newark, Delaware for the duration of the internship.
- Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for a 6-month period.
- Analytical Chemistry: Successfully completed two full years of undergraduate-level chemistry or related curriculum, including associated laboratory courses.
- Environmental Fate/Environmental Exposure & Assessment: Focus in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biology, environmental science, and/or organic chemistry, and successfully completed two full years of undergraduate-level curriculum, including associated laboratory courses.
- Organic Chemistry: Must have successfully completed at least four years of undergraduate-level organic/analytical chemistry curriculum, including associated laboratory courses, by the start of the internship.
