Job Summary

We are seeking a Temporary Medical Laboratory Technician to join our Parasitology Department at IDEXX Laboratories. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting with the preparation and analysis of veterinary samples.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of veterinary samples for testing, including sorting, tagging, and adding liquid chemicals.
  • Help to load analyzers with slides of samples and assist with inventory counts.
  • Restock supplies, such as chemicals and slide trays, as needed.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
