The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Account Director I - SLED to join our team. As a key member of our sales leadership, you will identify and develop new sales opportunities, provide product solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with acquired and/or existing customers to attain additional business and retain existing revenue.
  • Develop action plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customer spend with the company.
  • Learn and develop further knowledge of new technologies and selling points, including enhancing expertise in the company's entire product suite.
  • Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts.
  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
What We Look For in a Candidate

We're looking for a self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with a strong background in sales, preferably in the SLED/Public Safety industry. Key qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of industry sales experience.
  • Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges:

  • $77,440 - $103,250 in these states: NE SD
  • $81,510 - $108,680 in these states: IA MO ND FL
  • $85,590 - $114,120 in these states: CO MN

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
