Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction teams, including scheduling, engineering, and material control.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Manage and mentor construction teams to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to complete projects successfully.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Ensure all project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and reports, is accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of construction management experience, with at least 3 years of Job Order Contract experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction processes, including technology, equipment, and methods.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Northern California.
