As a Technology Services Designer II in our Chapel Hill office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.
Responsibilities- Convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, other consultants, field surveys and code research.
- Use prior experience to design and implement technology systems infrastructure and low voltage electrical systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless design coordination and implementation.
- Develop and maintain expertise in building systems spatial requirements and design coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients.
- 2+ years' experience in building systems design – structured cabling, technology systems infrastructure and low voltage electrical systems.
- Understanding of building systems spatial requirements and design coordination.
- Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD.
- Interest in helping clients leverage technology and technology systems to address their operational needs and meet their staff and organizational goals.
- Interest in and curiosity about existing and emerging technologies.
- Knowledge of NEC, TIA, BICSI, FGI standards.
- Effective skills to help you flourish:
