Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CEO, Production Managers, Buyers, Merchandisers, and Designers to curate innovative and balanced product collections.
  • Ensure a seamless flow of merchandise within the business, working closely with Operations and Marketing to guarantee timely and impactful product delivery.
  • Communicate financial outcomes, forecasts, and strategic plans to the broader organization.
  • Utilize the WSSI to inform and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Support the product development cycle while adhering to timelines and critical deadlines.
  • Adapt to fluctuations in demand and logistical challenges.
  • Translate relevant trends and fashion insights appropriately for our brand and clientele.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the product portfolio.
  • Provide insightful input on product and competitor activities.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and participate in trade events to remain updated on industry trends and competitor pricing.
  • Perform supplier visits as necessary.
  • Negotiate with current suppliers and seek new sourcing opportunities as needed, collaborating with fellow buyers to maintain a robust ethical supply chain.
  • Oversee all visual merchandising to ensure alignment with internal standards.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Deep understanding of fashion with a proven ability to drive profitable business growth.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a comparable role.
  • Experience in visual merchandising, both online and in retail settings.
