Key Responsibilities:
Tropicana Brands Group is in search of a highly skilled Warehouse Optimization Engineer to assist the Supply Chain team in achieving the company's objectives and initiatives.
This role will be accountable for leading enhancements in our warehousing and distribution methodologies, playing a vital role in refining our supply chain logistics.
This position is tailored for individuals eager to apply their industrial engineering expertise to the dynamic realm of warehousing, concentrating on boosting efficiency, minimizing waste, and contributing to our sustainability and innovation efforts.
Tropicana seeks a critical thinker with outstanding communication, influencing, and relationship management abilities who flourishes in a fast-paced setting.
Additional Responsibilities:
Design and evaluate warehousing layouts and systems to maximize storage efficiency and product flow.
Implement strategies for warehouse process improvement, emphasizing waste reduction and enhancing the quality of product handling and storage.
Conduct thorough time studies and establish performance benchmarks for warehousing tasks.
Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to optimize warehousing operations.
Collaborate with the supply chain team to enhance inventory management and decrease transportation expenses, ensuring effective logistics practices.
Promote sustainability initiatives within warehousing operations, aiming to lessen environmental impact through innovative solutions.
Leverage data analytics to guide strategic decisions and process improvements in warehousing and distribution.
Engage with cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges and improve overall operational efficiency in the warehousing sector.
Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in warehousing engineering, applying best practices relevant to the beverage industry.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication abilities and capacity to collaborate effectively with teams.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
Knowledge of predetermined time study techniques.
Proficient in AutoCAD Suite.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehousing management software tools.
Passionate about sustainability and innovation within the warehousing sector of the food and beverage industry.
