Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Interim HealthCare of Montgomery County and Southern Maryland. As a Home Health CNA, you will provide high-quality, personalized care to seniors and individuals with illnesses, injuries, or chronic diseases in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Care for seniors and individuals with illnesses, injuries, or chronic diseases in their homes, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating, and nutritional intake.
  • Help with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises to maintain mobility and flexibility.
  • Monitor vital signs, intake/output, and blood glucose levels, documenting any changes or concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient's care plan is followed.
  • Observe patient needs and notify supervisors of issues requiring a change in care, medication, or medical equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Maryland.
  • CPR certification and Covid-19 vaccination card.
  • TB Test or Chest X-Ray and Physician's Clearance.
  • Two years of CNA experience and a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation.
  • Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
