Job Description

At Homewatch CareGivers of Potomac, we are dedicated to improving the lives of our clients by providing compassionate and personalized care in the comfort of their own homes. As a Companion Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping our clients stay connected with the outside world, maintain a safe and comfortable home environment, and experience the fulfilling rewards of caregiving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to help prevent loneliness and isolation
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and errands
  • Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment by performing light housekeeping and laundry tasks

Requirements
  • Must be able to provide verification of any certifications held
  • Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility
  • Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, as well as TB and drug screening tests
  • Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the rest of the care team
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and automobile insurance
