Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Kitting Assembler to join our supply chain team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that production lines have the necessary materials to prevent any slowdown or work stoppage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure production is fully supported with materials to prevent any slowdown or work stoppage.
  • Print and manage work orders and pick lists for all orders outlined in the finite schedule.
  • Pick and stage inventory using FIFO, kitting, and staging methods.
  • Create and complete manual cycle counts for items with inaccurate inventory levels.
  • Review and manage inventory levels of consumables and Kanban locations on the production floor.
  • Perform inventory management tasks, including transferring and put-away of inventory, relocating excess inventory, and receiving completed subassemblies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area, adhering to 5S principles.
  • Complete weekly cycle counts, including generating cycle count sheets, performing blind counts, and calculating count variance results.
  • Assist with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping finished goods inventory as needed.
  • Notify the purchasing team of low inventory levels, large inventory scraps, or other large adjustments that impact available inventory.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution center, preferably in a material handling related role.
  • Experience with basic inventory control functions, including receiving, material handling, kitting, order fulfillment, and cycle counting.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience using an inventory control system, warehouse management system (WMS), or ERP software as part of core job function.
  • Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task on different projects while maintaining high-quality performance.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a team, including engineering, regulatory, marketing, and manufacturing personnel.
