**Job Summary**

As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care and making a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement patient care plans that address the unique needs of each individual, ensuring effective treatment and support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, including crisis management and therapeutic interventions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop targeted treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and self-management skills.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare teams.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and evidence-based care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant human services field, such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy, from an accredited institution.
  • Full licensure in North Carolina, with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Certifications in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) are required for this role.

Work Environment

This position requires frequent movement between patient care areas, including hospital units, emergency rooms, and individual offices. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide high-quality care.
