Position Overview:
Soliant Education is in search of a committed and skilled Special Education Teacher for an onsite role. This position is focused on working with preschool-aged children who require specialized educational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for young learners with special needs.
- Deliver direct educational instruction and support, adapting to the unique requirements of each child.
- Create and modify curriculum and teaching materials to align with the developmental stages of preschoolers.
- Engage with parents, caregivers, and school personnel to foster student growth and monitor educational progress.
- Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Evaluate and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive records of student achievements and educational strategies implemented.
Qualifications:
- Possession of Early Childhood Special Education Authorization is required.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
- Experience in working with preschool-aged children is essential.
- Familiarity with California educational settings is advantageous.
- Strong foundation in both early childhood education and special education principles.
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
- Capability to foster a positive and engaging learning environment for young children.
