Job Summary

Commonshare Inc is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide compassionate and personalized customer service to patients and prescribers, ensuring a positive experience with every interaction.
  • Medication Management: Accurately fill prescriptions, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records of patient data, including allergy information and third-party details.
  • Inventory Control: Conduct regular cycle counts, verify discrepancies, and maintain stock areas in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate workload status to team members, coordinate with pharmacists, and use proper phone etiquette when interacting with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in pharmacy topic discussions, staff meetings, and process changes to bring new ideas and feedback to the group.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous pharmacy experience, with hospital or home health experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Valid Virginia CPhT with PTCB.
  • Skills: Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently.
