Lead Pharmacy Technician

The Lead Pharmacy Technician is a critical role in our pharmacy team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and colleagues. As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of our pharmacy technicians, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of pharmacy technicians, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and medicine, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our pharmacy operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, such as HIPAA and OSHA.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
