Database Engineer

Rincon Research Corporation is seeking a skilled Database/Web Engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ. As a key member of our R&D team, you will design and implement cutting-edge software and cloud computing solutions to address complex national security and defense signal processing, geolocation, and communication challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data systems with web and database components
- Analyze and maintain existing databases and web interfaces
- Add new features to operational systems
- Implement signal processing and other algorithms with efficient software
- Provide applications to front-line customer facilities
- Create effective user interfaces and data visualization tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Proficient in modern software engineering practices
- Proficient in C++, Python, SQL, and/or NoSQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- Demonstrated ability to design software systems to ensure functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
- US citizenship required
Preferred Background:
- At least 3 years' experience in software engineering-related discipline
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, DevOps, and Cloud computing
- Agile development processes
