Job Summary

The RF Test Technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing radio frequency equipment using discrete and automated test equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair radio frequency equipment using schematics and discrete test equipment.
  • Testing and Evaluation: Perform manual testing using DMM, RF power meter, oscilloscope, frequency generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.
  • Automated Test Stations: Operate automated test stations and evaluate product performance.
  • Technical Reporting: Provide technical status of product performance, evaluate automated test results, and troubleshoot test equipment and test stations.
  • Mechanical Assembly: Perform minor disassembly of product during troubleshooting process.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associates Degree in Electronic, Technical School, Associated Military Equivalent, or previous work experience.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Read and comprehend schematic drawings, Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Test Procedures, and rework documents. Basic math skills and computer skills to include MSWord and Excel. Good knowledge of RF Microwave Technology.
