About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join our team at ShiftCode Analytics.

This is a challenging opportunity to work with stakeholders in collecting requirements, designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining core application software.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of an integrated solution to manipulate and manage DOJ data
  • Work as part of an Agile development team to conduct systems design, analysis, and development of the solution
  • Translate requirements and wireframes into code
  • Prepare and maintain documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience
  • Development experience with PL/SQL and JavaScript
  • Experience with VB.NET or C# to the level required to modify and/or debug existing code
  • Experience developing enterprise-level applications and supporting end-to-end systems development and delivery in an Agile environment
  • Experience with systems integration (i.e., moving data from one system to another, integrating functions between applications, experience with ETL, work with APIs, advanced level expertise with scripting languages)
  • Relational database experience
  • Demonstrated experience writing well-structured code and applications using coding best practices to deliver enterprise applications
  • Proficiency working with source control (Git, TFS, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance - May begin work on an interim clearance
Nice to Have Qualifications
  • Ability to work as an individual or part of a team
  • Experience with Dataiku, Appian, or other low code/no code platforms
  • Experience with NoSQL databases
  • Experience with data analytics to include programing in python to support Client and AI applications
  • Experience with the MVC framework
