Project Engineer III

At Oceaneering, we're seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer III to lead our team in delivering cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of innovation and excellence. As a key member of our engineering department, you'll work closely with our Chief Engineer and Project Manager to define and manage resources, schedules, and costs for our complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small engineering team through the complex submarine overhaul process
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to technical challenges
  • Collaborate with diverse teams across the organization to ensure project success
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members
  • Review and approve engineering work packages and change documents
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Ocean, or Nuclear) or Naval Architecture from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in complex systems design, manufacturing, and integration environments
  • Demonstrated knowledge of military and commercial construction and material specifications applicable to submarine and deep submergence system work
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks)
