We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Department of Veteran Affairs.

About the Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to our nation's veterans. As Chief of PM&R Service, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical programs, research initiatives, and administrative processes to ensure efficient delivery of services.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Lead the PM&R Service in providing exceptional care to our nation's veterans.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets for Service resources, staffing, training, and travel.
  • Oversee quality and efficiency of clinical programs, research, and other activities related to the roles of physicians, therapists, nurse practitioners, and other service personnel.
  • Ensure adherence with clinical and training program standards as guided by accrediting bodies, regulatory requirements, and VHA directives and guidelines.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility required.

What We Offer:

The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $336,000 per year. The final compensable salary will be determined through a formal pay-setting process, taking into account education and length of practice. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) and recruitment incentives for highly qualified candidates. The work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
