We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Service Chief to lead our team at the Cleveland VA Medical Center.

Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a variety of radiology healthcare professionals and allied staff, including physicians, technologists, nurses, and administrative staff. Additionally, they will serve as one of the principal clinical advisors to the Chief of Staff for the overall scope of radiology and nuclear medicine care provided.
Responsibilities- Supervise radiology healthcare professionals and allied staff, including physicians, technologists, nurses, and administrative staff.
- Serve as principal clinical advisor to the Chief of Staff for radiology and nuclear medicine care.
- Plan, develop, and direct general radiology, CT scan, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine operations.
- Provide radiological studies in inpatient and outpatient clinics, operating rooms, and ICU areas throughout the medical center.
- Participate in Nuclear Medicine and general medical staff meetings, committee assignments, compliance, and other components of an organized medical staff.
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Board certified or board eligible
- United States citizen (will consider non-citizen if no U.S. citizens)
This position offers a competitive salary of approximately $241,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible work schedules and shifts, low patient-provider ratios, robust insurance coverage, stable employment, and unprecedented federal retirement benefits, including a traditional pension and a federal 401(k) plan with up to 5% employer contributions.
